According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Hawaii added the highest number of jobs to the state government social assistance industry (232), followed by Connecticut (30), and Illinois (27).

On the other hand, West Virginia added the least number of jobs (-47), followed by Arkansas (-31), and Texas (-29).
