According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the state government social assistance industry (370), followed by Michigan (274), and New Mexico (74).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-46), followed by Washington (-35), and South Carolina (-25).
