According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the state government public administration industry (474), followed by Georgia (454), and Arizona (348).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-1,601), followed by Florida (-1,270), and New York (-1,222).
