United States Payroll Employment By State for The State Government Public Administration Industry in May, 2023

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2023, California added the highest number of jobs to the state government public administration industry (2,530), followed by New York (1,144), and Maryland (900).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-708), followed by Oregon (-197), and Kansas (-92).
