According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the state government administration of environmental programs industry (520), followed by Pennsylvania (160), and Montana (143).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-133), followed by Washington (-125), and Michigan (-114).
