According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, Pennsylvania added the highest number of jobs to the state government administration of environmental programs industry (22), followed by New Jersey (21), and Kentucky (16).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-1,176), followed by Massachusetts (-628), and California (-500).
