According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the state government administration of environmental programs industry (231), followed by California (123), and New Hampshire (43).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-430), followed by Indiana (-350), and Michigan (-180).
