According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, Florida added the highest number of jobs to all government establishments (143,243), followed by California (139,376), and Arizona (66,766).
On the other hand, Idaho added the least number of jobs (-461), followed by Hawaii (-40), and Maine (203).
