According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alabama was 10.1% (sa) in July, 2010. Among all Alabama counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Wilcox (25.2%), Clarke (19.6%), and Greene (19.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Shelby (6.9%), Madison (8.3%), and Coffee (8.5%).
