According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alabama was 7.1% (sa) in February, 2014. Among all Alabama counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Wilcox (18.6%), Lowndes (13.9%), and Clarke (13%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Shelby (5.1%), Lee (6.3%), and Tuscaloosa (6.4%).
