According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.2% (sa) in December, 2007. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (23.1%), Kusilvak (17.9%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (14.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): North Slope (4.3%), Juneau (4.7%), and Anchorage (5%).
