According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.3% (sa) in September, 2007. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (17.2%), Bethel (11.9%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (11.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Denali (2.4%), Bristol Bay (3.2%), and Lake and Peninsula (3.7%).
