According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7.2% (sa) in May, 2012. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (22.9%), Yukon-Koyukuk (17.5%), and Northwest Arctic (16.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Juneau (4.8%), Anchorage (5.4%), and Sitka (5.8%).
