According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 7% (sa) in August, 2013. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (21.9%), Yukon-Koyukuk (15.9%), and Bethel (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sitka (4.1%), Juneau (4.3%), and Aleutians East (4.4%).
