According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.9% (sa) in March, 2013. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Denali (27.4%), Kusilvak (24.2%), and Skagway (21.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (3.8%), Aleutians East (4.6%), and Juneau (5.4%).
