According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6% (sa) in January, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (23.4%), Denali (21.5%), and Kusilvak (19.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (3.3%), Aleutians East (4%), and Sitka (5.2%).
