According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6% (sa) in January, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (25.6%), Kusilvak (19.9%), and Hoonah-Angoon (19.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians West (3.4%), North Slope (3.8%), and Aleutians East (4.3%).
