According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.3% (sa) in November, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (17.1%), Kusilvak (14.3%), and Northwest Arctic (12.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (3.7%), Juneau (3.8%), and Sitka (3.9%).
