According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.5% (sa) in September, 2019. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (13.7%), Northwest Arctic (11.4%), and Bethel (11.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (1.7%), Aleutians West (2.3%), and Skagway (2.6%).
