According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 3.8% (sa) in August, 2022. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (12.6%), Bethel (8.1%), and Northwest Arctic (8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (1.3%), Sitka (1.8%), and Aleutians West (1.9%).
