According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 5.2% (sa) in January, 2022. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Skagway (17%), Denali (16.8%), and Kusilvak (15.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Aleutians East (2.7%), Aleutians West (4.1%), and Juneau (4.3%).
