According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 4.6% (sa) in December, 2023. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (13.9%), Skagway (12.9%), and Denali (12.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Sitka (3.5%), Juneau (3.6%), and Anchorage (3.6%).
