According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Arizona was 5.9% (sa) in June, 2003. Among all Arizona counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Yuma (22.3%), Apache (14.5%), and Navajo (10.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Mohave (5.4%), Yavapai (5.6%), and Maricopa (5.7%).
