California Unemployment Rate By County in July, 2003

According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 7% (sa) in July, 2003. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (18.7%), Tulare (12.1%), and Alpine (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Napa (4.8%), Santa Barbara (5%), and Orange (5.1%).
