According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 12.5% (sa) in April, 2010. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (28.8%), Colusa (21.5%), and Plumas (20.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (8%), San Mateo (8.5%), and Mono (8.6%).
