According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 12.2% (sa) in February, 2011. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Colusa (29.1%), Imperial (27.5%), and Plumas (23.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (7.7%), San Mateo (7.9%), and San Francisco (8.6%).
