According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 11.5% (sa) in November, 2011. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (28.4%), Colusa (20%), and Sutter (17%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (7%), San Mateo (7.2%), and San Francisco (7.6%).
