According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 9.9% (sa) in November, 2012. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (25.3%), Colusa (19.2%), and Sutter (15.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (5.8%), Marin (5.8%), and San Francisco (6.1%).
