According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 8.6% (sa) in October, 2013. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (26.7%), Colusa (14%), and Tulare (13.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Marin (5.1%), San Mateo (5.2%), and San Francisco (5.3%).
