According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 7.8% (sa) in April, 2014. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (22.7%), Colusa (19.9%), and Sutter (14.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (4%), Marin (4%), and San Francisco (4.2%).
