According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 5.9% (sa) in September, 2015. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (25.5%), Tulare (10.1%), and Colusa (9.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (3.2%), Marin (3.3%), and San Francisco (3.4%).
