According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 4% (sa) in May, 2019. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (18.9%), Colusa (10.6%), and Tulare (8.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (1.8%), San Francisco (2%), and Marin (2%).
