According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of California was 3.9% (sa) in July, 2022. Among all California counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Imperial (15.4%), Colusa (9.1%), and Tulare (8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Mateo (2.4%), San Francisco (2.5%), and Santa Clara (2.6%).
