According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 5.5% (sa) in July, 2004. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Costilla (10.4%), Conejos (8.4%), and Huerfano (7.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hinsdale (2.4%), San Juan (2.6%), and Sedgwick (2.8%).
