According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 3.8% (sa) in December, 2006. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Costilla (7.2%), Crowley (6.5%), and Saguache (5.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Rio Blanco (2.1%), Pitkin (2.1%), and Yuma (2.3%).
