According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 5% (sa) in August, 2008. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Saguache (10%), Costilla (8.1%), and Conejos (7.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hinsdale (2.3%), Rio Blanco (2.4%), and Yuma (2.5%).
