According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 8.7% (sa) in May, 2011. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Dolores (14.8%), San Miguel (14.3%), and Huerfano (13.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Cheyenne (4.5%), Kit Carson (5%), and Hinsdale (5.2%).
