According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 8.5% (sa) in November, 2011. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (15.9%), Huerfano (13.5%), and Rio Grande (12.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Cheyenne (4.5%), Kit Carson (4.6%), and Kiowa (4.7%).
