According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 7.4% (sa) in December, 2012. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Huerfano (14.4%), Las Animas (13.1%), and Rio Grande (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Kit Carson (4%), Baca (4.2%), and Cheyenne (4.3%).
