According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 8.2% (sa) in May, 2012. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): San Miguel (14.5%), Huerfano (13.8%), and Rio Grande (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Baca (4.4%), Kiowa (4.5%), and Kit Carson (4.6%).
