According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Colorado was 3.2% (sa) in August, 2023. Among all Colorado counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Huerfano (6.1%), Las Animas (5.5%), and Fremont (5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Kit Carson (1.8%), Baca (2%), and Yuma (2.1%).
