According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 4.7% (sa) in February, 2003. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Taylor (6%), Citrus (5.7%), and Hendry (5.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (3.1%), Alachua (3.2%), and Union (3.3%).
