According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 2.4% (sa) in May, 2006. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (3.7%), Hernando (3%), and Flagler (2.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Walton (1.4%), Okaloosa (1.6%), and Wakulla (1.7%).
