According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 2.5% (sa) in October, 2006. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Madison (5.9%), Hendry (5.4%), and Flagler (3.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Walton (1.7%), Okaloosa (1.8%), and Wakulla (1.9%).
