According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 4.9% (sa) in April, 2008. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Flagler (7.3%), Hernando (6.4%), and Charlotte (6.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (2.7%), Liberty (2.9%), and Lafayette (2.9%).
