According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 9.4% (sa) in May, 2009. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Flagler (13.1%), St. Lucie (11.9%), and Hernando (11.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Liberty (4.8%), Monroe (6%), and Wakulla (6.1%).
