According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 10.5% (sa) in October, 2009. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (15.7%), Flagler (14.4%), and St. Lucie (13.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Liberty (5.6%), Wakulla (6.9%), and Monroe (6.9%).
