According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 10.8% (sa) in July, 2010. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (18.7%), Indian River (14.6%), and St. Lucie (14.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (6.9%), Franklin (7.4%), and Monroe (7.6%).
