According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 10.8% (sa) in October, 2010. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (15.1%), Indian River (13.7%), and St. Lucie (13.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (7.1%), Franklin (7.3%), and Leon (7.4%).
