According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 10.4% (sa) in March, 2011. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hernando (12.3%), Marion (12.2%), and Putnam (12.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lafayette (5.8%), Monroe (7%), and Alachua (7.1%).
