According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Florida was 4.9% (sa) in September, 2016. Among all Florida counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Hendry (10.7%), Hardee (7.7%), and Sumter (7.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (3.3%), St. Johns (4%), and Okaloosa (4.1%).
